Owner/Director, Amy Pace has been dancing for over 20 years and her background in gymnastics/tumbling spans 12 years. She danced on scholarship with the Kaleidoscope Dancers Company at the University of Central Oklahoma while pursuing a degree in dance education. She has taken many classes in Early Childhood Developmental Psychology, Anatomy/Kinesiology, and Preventing and Treating injuries, and continues her education each summer with a Master Teacher's Workshop at Oklahoma City University and throughout the year at many dance conventions and workshops. She taught and administered the dance program at Sellers Dance from January 1996 until May 2010 and also taught at her studio she grew up at, Furman Gray/FGI in Midwest City, OK. Amy's choreography has been performed at UCO; by show choirs, pom and cheer squads, in talent shows, beauty pageants, dance competitions and recitals throughout the Midwest. In addition to her training at UCO, she received a scholarship and studied at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles. She has also studied with and been featured in works by many dance professionals including Debra Knapp, Jo Rowan, David Howard, Greg Russell, Doug Caldwell, and Barry Youngblood. She has taken class from and with judges Dan Karaty, Brian Friedman, Choreographers Tyce Diorio and contestants Destini Rodgers, Blake McGrath, and Ivan Koumaev all from FOX's hit show "So You Think You Can Dance?" Amy has been a performing member of the dance companies Psuedodance Theatre and Perpetual Motion Modern Dance Company. She has been the tumbling/stunt cheerleading coach for Santa Fe South Jr. and Sr. High squads here in Oklahoma City and was the founding director of Sacred Steps liturgical dance group at Wickline United Methodist Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Amy treasures all her dance accomplishments, but is most proud of her family; son Levin, daughters Rowen, and Aralyn.
